Rules of the game.
Aim of the game:
Be the player who guesses the most words in the duel.
How a game works.
A game consists of a succession of intermissions and rounds.
Start the game.
Press the button to enable sound and load the game assets.
Choose an identity.
This step is optional, but you will probably want to choose how you appear to other players. What is great is that you can change your identity at any time in the game menu.
An avatar is randomly assigned by default, but you can choose from one hundred and sixty-nine avatars.
You may use a name already used by another player. Your name must not exceed twenty-five characters.
Start a duel.
Face a random opponent.
Press the button to start searching for a random opponent. Press to cancel the search.
Invite a friend.
Press the button to create a game. Copy the link displayed on the screen and share it with your friend. “Link copied” appears when the link is copied to the clipboard.
When someone joins your game, it is recommended to make sure it is the right person. Otherwise, you can kick them out by pressing .
Join a friend’s game.
Open the link shared by your friend in a web browser, then click the button.
The intermission.
Each duel starts with an intermission. Between each word, a new intermission allows players to chat and review the game history.
When the player is ready to start a round, they press the button which becomes . As long as the opponent is not ready, you may change your mind. The round starts when both players are ready.

0 1 / 10At the top of the screen, the red area shows the current word number and the total number of words in the game.
The players’ dashboards display the name, avatar, score, and revealed letters of the word to guess. The local player’s dashboard is always displayed at the bottom of the screen.
The virtual keyboard is located at the bottom of the screen. A physical keyboard may also be used if the device allows it.
Submit a word.
A player may submit as many words as they want as long as the secret word has not been discovered by the opponent. All slots must be filled to validate a guess.
Press to delete a letter. Press to submit a word.
A word that is not in the game dictionary is rejected. In that case, the player’s dashboard temporarily turns gray and vibrates.
Correction.
Correctly placed letters.
Correctly placed letters are displayed in blue tiles. Hints are cumulative: all correctly placed letters discovered previously remain visible.
Absent letters.
Letters that are not present in the secret word are indicated by empty yellow tiles.
Present but misplaced letters.
Letters that are present but misplaced have their corresponding keys turn yellow. The number on the key indicates how many misplaced occurrences of that letter you have discovered. Hints are cumulative.
Replace the word.
A player may propose replacing the current word with another by pressing . If both players press the button, the round ends and a new intermission begins.
End of the round.
The player who guesses the secret word earns one point and ends the round.
Victory.
A game ends when ten words have been guessed. The player who has discovered the most words wins the duel.
In case of a tie, both players are declared winners.
